Recently, Blake Griffin was traded to the Detroit Pistons. He was traded for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, and their 2018 first and second round picks. The pistons also got Willie Reed and Bryce Johnson. Griffin is making over 30 million dollars a year for five years, so if he is not healthy, this trade could backfire for the pistons. Blake has played two games for the pistons, and they are 2-0. He had 24 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in his debut. The pistons are currently the 9th seed, and they are right in the mix of the eastern conference playoffs. This trade means two things. One, the clippers will now be most certainly be trading away Deandre Jordan and Lou Williams. Two, the pistons will be trying all in to be successful. The pistons will most likely make the playoffs if they keep playing like this, and that is basically it. Also if Blake stays healthy, that is a big factor. Other than potential Jordan and Williams trades however, this trade does not mean a whole lot in the NBA.
